    That was SCOTT Leslie - he also has what he says are the BEST sounding 604's ever built: a special pair of prototypes that never made into production.

    Thanks to all who posted on this

    I especially liked the links to tech data. I will send the Leslie mystery link to several people I know. It seems that this doppler effect has been dismissed as not being audible enough to worry about for about 20 years now. SO, moving right along to other things...
